The level 1 Student's book comprises 6 units in total (Unit 0 plus 5 additional units, each of which are divided into 2 learning blocks).

Each unit in the Student's book is divided into the following sections:

a)'¡Empezamos!' - This presents a listening comprehension activity as a means of familiarising pupils with the contents that will be covered in the unit.

b) 'Comunicación' - This presents the contents of the unit via varied tasks and activities centred around communication.

c) 'Cuaderno de vocabulario' - This presents the lexical content of the unit.

d) 'Cuaderno de gramática' - This presents different tasks as a means of helping pupils to reflect on the grammatical content presented in the unit.

e) 'Conecta2' - This presents a text that is closely linked to the digital world.

f) '¡Qué interesante!' - This introduces cultural content in a fun way.

g) 'Repaso' - This section will enable pupils to evaluate their progress and understanding of the contents by undertaking an affective activity that requires them to use the most important vocabulary (based on their individual vocabulary banks).

There is also a section that presents DELE Escolar-style tasks.

The Student's book and Exercise book for this level are combined in a single, handy volume.

Pupils can also access this book in digital format for free thanks to the inclusion of a printed code at the front of the manual.
